Tom Burlinson – ‘Singing and Swinging!’

After the success of ‘Frank-A Life in Song’ it became clear that there would be an on-going demand for the musicians and I to provide entertainment for corporate events, to perform in concert for publicly-funded organisations and to appear at fund-raising nights for charities.

Thus we developed ‘Tom Burlinson – ‘Singing and Swinging!’ in which we present a selection of songs from my extensive repertoire of Frank Sinatra classics as well as the hits of Dean Martin, Nat ‘King’ Cole, Tony Bennett, Sammy Davis Jnr and Bobby Darin, many of which have been revived by Robbie Williams and Michael Buble.

I can be accompanied by a fabulous 16-piece big band for larger rooms or outdoor events, and we also have musical arrangements for an 8-piece ensemble if space is limited. Requests for smaller bands can be accommodated as well.

We have performed at many corporate events over the years and have received consistently enthusiastic feedback. We love to encourage people to dance to the swinging sounds of a band of great musicians playing jazzy arrangements of some of the greatest songs ever written with vocals by one of Australia’s most popular entertainers.
